You may consider having a dental implant for a missing tooth/teeth. Missing tooth/teeth may occur when a badly damaged or decayed tooth is removed, and there is ‘hole’ in your jawbone.
A dental implant (like a tooth root) is placed in the jawbone so that it can fuse with your natural bone and become a strong and sturdy foundation for replacement tooth/teeth. This is usually performed by an oral surgeon or periodontist by referral to place the implant into your jawbone, and afterwards we will custom make your replacement tooth/crown to attach to that implant.
Dental implants are the closest you can get to healthy, natural teeth. They will allow you to confidently eat, smile, laugh, talk, play and enjoy all of your regular activities of everyday life. It is natural looking, more stable and tend to last longer than other tooth replacement options (dentures or bridges).
